Fifteen Restaurant - chef apprenticeship programme for better future

07.03.2011

Fifteen Restaurant represents one of the activities within the Jamie Oliver Foundation. Fifteen Restaurants run chef apprenticeship programme with an aim to inspire and support disadvantaged young people. They help youth fighting problem of homelessness, unemployment, drug or alcohol problems to create careers in the restaurant industry.

Fifteen Restaurant will be presented on 15th April at the conference by Mr. Danny McCubbin, Fifteen’s manager, and Mr. Joe Grey, the programme graduate.

Fifteen help apprentices to learn by putting them in real work environment, directly participating in a fully operative business. The underlying philosophy is to boost the confidence and belief that they can achieve anything they want, despite all the obstacles they have experienced.

Fifteen restaurants can be found in London, Amsterdam and Cornwall.
